Come hear Susan Leviton, Yiddish singer and storyteller, creatively tell the story of The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911.
Susan Leviton is one of the only people today exploring and sharing the tradition of women’s A Cappella singing in Yiddish. One of her main interests is the Early Labor Movement in the US and finds it powerful to put music to such historic events to tell their stories. Lunch will be provided.
