Despite the cold and ice, winter can be a time of Spiritual insight and awakening.
Meet us at Landis House at noon to ride to the Letort Creek. Bundle up and join us as we explore the deep wisdom that a bare and wintry landscape offers while walking along the Letort. We will stop to notice the many aspects of nature that are taking the winter off, as well as others that continue to be active, and what each of these approaches might teach us about our own Spiritual journeys. There will be an opportunity to connect with each other, as well as time for silence and solitude. And we might try a spiritual practice or two designed especially for nature. After a short walk we will head back to Landis House for lunch and more conversation. We will be finished by 1:30 so that you are able to head to work/class.
Led by Beth Norcross from the Center for Spirituality in Nature and this years Annual Wesley Lecturer.
