Film Screenings of Home From School & WGAL News 8's Chronicle: Bring Them Home and Q&A with Film Directors, Matt Barcaro and Geoffrey O’Gara.

Please join us for two film screenings of “Home From School” and “WGAL News 8’s Chronicle: Bring Them Home” on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 4 pm in Althouse 106. The “Home From School” trailer documents the journey of Northern Arapaho elders and youth who came from Wyoming to the Carlisle Barracks to take home the remains of three of their children who were buried there in the 1880s while attending the Carlisle Indian Industrial School. “WGAL News 8’s Chronicle: Bring Them Home” isan Edward R Murrow-winning documentary about the first repatriation of remains from the Carlisle Indian School Cemetery. It follows the journey of the Northern Arapaho tribe as it attempts to fulfill a generations-old promise to reunite its people with three young ancestors.
