Come learn about a new research grant opportunity.
Students are invited to apply for a grant from the Jeffrey Niemitz Student Research Fund to conduct research on the sustainable use of natural resources in a disadvantaged and underserved community abroad or in the United States. One grant of up to $5000 will be awarded this year for a project that would be conducted between Jan 1, 2019 and Dec 31, 2019. Particularly encouraged are proposals to conduct research in a community where you have studied or worked before. The application deadline is October 29, 2018. The Fund was established by Dickinson alumni to honor emeritus professor Jeffrey Niemitz.
