The orchestra will perform selections by Corigliano, Beethoven (with soloist Emmanuel Borowsky), Rimsky-Korsakov and Farrenc.
Courtney Erin Shackelford ’03
In grateful acknowledgement of Bill and Marcy Shackelford P’03 for the future establishment of the Courtney Erin Shackelford ’03 Orchestra Fund, the Dickinson Orchestra, under the direction of Robert Pound, will perform Corigliano’s Elegy, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto (II. Larghetto) with soloist Emmanuel Borowsky, Russian Easter Festival Overture by Rimsky-Korsakov and Farrenc’s Symphony no. 2 in D major. During her years at the college, Courtney was an orchestra member and English major.
