Join us for a screening of TILL, the acclaimed film that tells the story of Mamie Till-Mobley and her unwavering pursuit of justice following the brutal lynching of her 14-year-old son, Emmet Till.
Through her extraordinary courage and determination, Mamie transformed personal tragedy into a pivotal moment in the American Civil Rights Movement, inspiring generations to confront injustice and advocate for equality. Director, producer, and documentarian, Keith Beauchamp will share his experience with capturing these experiences on film during a conversation moderated by Dr. Todd Allen, Vice President for Diversity aFfairs at Messiah University and a friend of Mr. Beauchamp's. This event is free of charge. It is sponsored by the War, Peace & Justice Project, the A.C.E. Peer Mentors Program, and the Popel Shaw Center for Race & Ethnicity.
