Join the Africana Studies Department, the College Archives, and the Popel Shaw Center for Race and Ethnicity for a birthday party for Frederick Douglass!
We will have cake, music, and historical documents for you to transcribe. The transcribe-a-thon will focus on primary source documents from figures like Frederick Douglass or Mary Church Terrell so that we can advance research on Black history.
Laptops will be available and no experience in transcribing is needed. Come for as long as you’d like.
