Sacred Chickens and Roman Emperors: Ancient History and the Art of Nate Creekmore

Nate Creekmore, illustrator and cartoonist.

He has twice received the Charles M. Schulz Award for cartooning from The Scripps Howard Foundation for his daily comic strip Maintaining. He has created character designs for New York Times best-selling author Shea Serrano, and he has worked for Bandera Entertainment. His illustrations frequently appear on the sports and pop culture website The Ringer. He is the author of several graphic novels, including The Sacred Chickens of Rome: A Tale of Treachery, Bravery, and Poultry and LXXXII Caesars.
