Data Analytics Hangout on September 14

September 14, 2022

Data Analytics Hangouts invite students, faculty, and staff from across campus to informally discuss what data analytics is and how it can be applied in a variety of settings.

The first Data Analytics Hangout of the Semester will take place on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00 pm in 08 Althouse. This hangout will begin with a short presentation from Prof. John MacCormick, Professor of Computer Science. Following this, we will have informal time for students and faculty to get together to discuss what data analytics is and how it can be applied in a variety of settings. We welcome anyone who has an interest in learning more about data analytics! Students from any class or major are welcome, as well as faculty members – this is a relaxed environment for us all to learn. Snacks will be provided! If you plan to attend the hangout on September 14, please RSVP at the following link so we can provide enough snacks: https://forms.office.com/r/rCrB22HRqM. The hangouts are being co-hosted by the Quantitative Reasoning Center & Data Analytics Department. If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Campbell.
