Logan Grider: Recent Work

Logan Grider makes paintings that are informed by his experiences of life. The painting process is intuitive and slow. He received a MFA from Yale University; studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture; received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; and studied at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy. His work has been exhibited nationally and has been reviewed in Artforum, ArtNews, The Brooklyn Rail, The Houston Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Hyperallergic and The Philadelphia Inquirer. He is an associate professor of art at Swarthmore College, where he has taught since 2009.

Opening Reception: 5:30-7 p.m., Artist Talk at 6 p.m.

This exhibition runs Sept. 14 through Oct. 15.

Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 3-5 p.m.; Saturday, 2-5 p.m.
