Dutch Mosaic: Managing Death and Dying in Comparative Perspective This upcoming Spring 2022 one-course mosaic will examine the philosophical, ethical, cultural, policy, organizational, and economic aspects of palliative and hospice care in both the U.S. and the Netherlands. The course will integrate an 11-day research trip to the Netherlands that will take place over spring break. Depending on final projects, this course may fulfill the qualitative research methods requirement for SOCI 240. It is also a HEST elective.
