Lets Talk, Dickinson.

April 22, 2021

The Popel Shaw Center is introducing and hosting the first of its "Let's Talk, Dickinson" series.

This series will allow the community to come together and have tough conversations around important issues and topics of race & ethnicity. The goal is to provide a safe space for members of the Dickinson community to be open, honest, and most importantly real about the issues that are affecting them.

In this first conversation, we are hosting Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students George Stroud, General Counsel Kendall Isaac, and current students Charlese Reynolds '22 and Bruno Kaboyi '21 to discuss the verdict of the Derek Chauvin trial, recent events, and the issues of racial justice, police brutality and, equity that Black, Brown and, other marginalized people face in this country.
