Join the Office of LGBTQ Services and the Center for Sustainability Education for an afternoon of crafts, art, and clothing swap!
We will be setting up stations for painting, drawing, collage-making, journaling, and all kinds of art, while also featuring clothing from the Free xChange, which you can peruse outside. Look for the pride flags, following the music, and bring your creativity and an interest in trying new clothes to this event on Morgan Field.
The Dickinson Free xChange aims to 1) reduce waste and promote reuse, 2) provide a safe and equitable space for the exchange of second-hand clothing on campus that is accessible to every Dickinsonian and 3) create awareness of the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the global fashion industry. You can bring clothes to swap, or simply pick up what is available. the Free xChange offers:
- Tops: Shirts, sweaters, and suits
- Bottoms: Pants, shorts, skirts, and dresses
- Accessories: Jackets, scarves, belts, and gloves
