The Dining Hall will feature laddu during dinner this Friday!
Laddu is a sweet, South-Asian dessert dish often served at festive or religious occasions. This Friday is Maha Shivaratri, a Hindu festival that honors Lord Shiva.
Some Did You Know facts about Maha Shivaratri: Some devotees stay awake all night, perform prayer rituals, chant Vedic mantras, and/or practice meditation. These sacred practices bestow a sense of peace and oneness within themselves and with the world.
Serving laddu in honor of this holiday is a collaborative effort between CSSJ, WIND, and Dining Services.
