Earth Day Teach In Workshop

February 17, 2020

You are invited to propose and lead a session at the Teach-In.

Dickinson is celebrating Earth Day and reaching carbon-neutrality with a Teach-In on April 22nd and you are invited to propose and lead a session at the Teach-In. Attend this workshop to get help to develop your proposal, connect with others who are thinking about proposing sessions, learn about all that is planned for Earth Day, and have your questions answered.

Students, faculty, staff and Carlisle community members are invited to submit proposals to lead teach-in sessions that will raise understanding and promote action on one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The Goals span a wide range of aspirations, so there is space to include your passions. The Goals include, for example, ending hunger and poverty, reducing inequalities, taking action on climate change, protecting natural environments, providing decent work for all, promoting peace and justice, and promoting sustainable economic development.

Interactive, creative and inclusive learning formats are encouraged. We seek to have sessions on a diversity of issues from a diversity of perspectives and identities. Teach-In sessions selected from the proposals will take place on campus (locations tbd) throughout the day on Earth Day, April 22nd.
