Caf Hacks Competition- Plant-Rich Dinner Competition

November 7, 2019

We love Chopped. You love Chopped. Let's see who doesn't get Chopped at Dickinson.

Join us in getting creative to come up with an innovative plant-based dinner option using only ingredients and equipment available in the Dining Hall. Compete against other Dickinsonians to be crowned the Caf-Hack Champion! Or just come watch!

This is a fun way to participate in Dickinson's Climate Change Needs Behavior Change - commitment of the month- which is building a plant-rich diet. You don't have to become a vegan to make a difference! All of us can make simple plant-forward choices to help reduce carbon emissions related to production and consumption of meat and animal products. This competition will provide a space and place for some creative hacks to be shared!

Meals will be judged based on nutrition, aesthetic, diversity of plant-based ingredients, sustainability, and overall taste by a panel of beloved faculty and staff (stay tuned for the final list of judges!). The winning team will receive tokens to use at Farmers on the Square, bragging rights, and hopefully some team pride pics in the Caf.
