Senior Essays and Collections

The links below take you to student productions completed as partial requirement for the Department of History Senior Seminar at Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  They are drawn from several offerings, in various configurations, of the seminar entitled "War and Remembrance," taught between 1997 and 1999.
The instructor in this course retained the right to make editorial changes for presentation's sake, and in some cases this has been done.   But, in the main, the quality of the pages are as you see it, and you may find varying success which may well have related to the student's final mark in the course.  Students are offered approximately seven weeks to explore, initiate, and complete this part of the seminar requirement.
