Further down Louther Street is the newest building on campus. The Tome Scientific Building was constructed in 1999 and was given the name of Dickinson's historic science building in 2001. It contains modern classroom and laboratory space in addition to the Kanev planetarium and the Britton observatory. The building is home to the mathematics and computer science and physics and astronomy departments. Its physics classrooms were designed specifically for our innovative workshop physics programs.
