On the southwest corner of the John Dickinson Campus we find Bosler Hall, which began as the college library in 1886. The original sandstone walls were covered with limestone in the 1940s. After the construction of the Boyd Lee Spahr library, Bosler was renovated and became the home to the language departments.
An ornamental cartouche appeared above a portice at the original entrance to the building. It showed two putti, or naked cherubs, holding a scroll with the name of the building. It remained in place until 1940.
