North of Bosler along College Street is the Althouse Science Hall. Constructed in 1957, it is the home of the chemistry department. The building houses a lecture hall that can seat up to 112 students. Laboratories have been modernized to provide hands-on learning through Dickinson's unique "Bench Chem" program.
