To Prospective Pre-College Students and their Parents:

I appreciate your interest in Dickinson 's Pre-College program for high school students. During the six years of this program, we have enrolled some great students, many of whom are with us today as full time undergraduates. This is why it is particularly difficult for me to tell you that we are discontinuing the Pre-College Program effective for 2007. It is always hard to end a successful program, but college priorities made it clear that we had to do so.

I wish you the best as you search for an appropriate pre-college experience, and I hope you will keep in touch with me and with Dickinson when you begin your college search in earnest. I am always available to help you in any way I can.
