The Top Secret Rosies program held on March 28th turned
out to be an amazing experience for me. Top Secret Rosies is a documentary film
that tells the story of female scientists during the WWII. As an intern of
women’s center, I worked with the CS/Math department and Cumberland County
Commission for women. It is an interesting experience to work with different
people and get things organized. Many people attended the film that night,
including computer science major students, history major students and women and
gender studies students. Some people are from the local community. I was glad
to see this happened because the point of the program is to bring together
people from different groups and to celebrate the achievement of women. I did
the opening and had a short presentation before the film. This was challenging
but it did turn out to be great!
