The Dickinson College Women's
& Gender Resource Center builds gender education and equality into the life of
the institution through space and community, resources and skills, and events

Dominique Brown, '15 - Communications Assistant
My name is Dominique Brown. I am from Brooklyn, NY and I am
currently junior at Dickinson College. I am an Africana Studies and Psychology
double major and the new Communications Assistant for Women’s and Gender
Resource Center. In addition I am a dancer for the Synergy Dance Team, the Club
Liaison for the African American Society, and a Student Assistant for the
Africana Studies department. I enjoy
watching movies, dancing, and food. I am
excited to be working for the Women’s and Gender Resource Center this
semester. I have some creative and fun
ideas for the center. My preferred
pronouns are she/her.
Trevor Lang, '16 - Resource Assistant
I am Trevor Lang one of the Resource Assistants for the
Women’s and Gender Resource Center. I am a Sophomore Women’s and Gender Studies
Major and Astronomy Minor. I am from Rhode Island, but I do not like water. I
am in Yes Please, LEAD, Spectrum House, Japanese Table, and Feminist
Collective. I like to read and play chess. I have no preferred pronouns. I am
excited to work at the resource center because it will combine my passion for
reading and gender issues.
Sara Tyberg, '16 - Resource Assistant
My name is Sara Tyberg, and I am a sophomore sociology major from Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. I am one of the Resources Assistants at the Women’s and Gender
Resource Center. Additionally, I am an Orientation Leader on campus, and I am
also involved in Spectrum, PALS, Yes Please, and American Sign Language Club.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and playing video games as well as
spending time with my family and friends. I’m excited to be working at the WGRC
this semester, because I’ve been coming to the Landis House since arriving on
campus my freshman year, and I feel like this is an opportunity for me to give
back to this amazing, inclusive community. My preferred pronouns are she/her.
