Women's Resource Center Position at Bloomsburg University

Director of the Campus Women's Resource Center and the Assistant Director of Social Equity (AA# 08-9-348)

Reporting to the Deputy to the President for Equity, this full time, permanent position of Director of the Campus Women's Resource Center and the Assistant Director of Social Equity (AA# 08-9-348) will focus on supporting the University's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect through the Women's Resource Center and Social Equity initiatives. The individual is responsible for establishing the goals, strategies and programming for the center with primary emphasis on women students at BU. The successful candidate will also serve as the University's Victim Advocate and will coordinate and participate in recruitment and retention programs and strategies to create a diverse university faculty and staff.

Qualifications include: bachelor's degree required; master's degree in multicultural education, women and gender studies, psychology, counseling or relevant field preferred. Preferred qualifications include: administrative and program planning experience in social equity, multicultural affairs, victims advocacy, women's services, employee recruitment and retention.

Experience in search and screen processes for faculty and other professional positions desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations required. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process.
