DC trip has been postponed to Saturday, November 19, 2011.
This semester's trip to D.C. will focus around the newly dedicated Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in the National Mall. The trip gives students the chance to see the memorial as well as discuss the meaning of Dr. King's message in today's world. After seeing the memorial in the morning, students and staff can either visit the Holocaust Museum located nearby or explore downtown D.C. Afterwards, the group will have dinner together at Bus Boys and Poets, a local social justice restaurant.
