Dickinson College has developed and coordinated numerous campus and Carlisle Community resources which are available to help maintain student health and treat various physical and psychological concerns.

If you have an emergency during the time we are closed call ext. 1111 for the Department of Public Safety for transportation to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center Emergency Department.

Please try to notify your RA if possible.

Wellness Center - Health Services is located at the corner of Cherry and Louther Streets. Health Services is located in the extension to the Kline Center next to the Fitness Center. The office operates similar to your primary care provider and an appointment is required. Most students are seen the same day they call. We recommend that you call as early in the day as possible to secure an appointment the same day.

Office Closed 2nd Mon. of each month from 9:00 - 10:00 for Wellness Center staff meeting

Medical AdviceIf you need medical care or advice when Health Services is closed, you can call NurseLine, our 24/7 nurse advice service, free of charge by dialing their toll free number 866-409-1859. The nurses will determine the most appropriate level of care and can advise you. If you need to go to the emergency department, and you are on campus, NurseLine will connect you directly to Public Safety so that you can be transported to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center ER.

The Carlisle Regional Medical Center ER provides emergency medical care is located just 2 miles from campus at 361 Alexander Spring Road.

Holy Spirit - Carlisle Family Health Center provides urgent, non-emergency medical care is located just 3 miles from campus at 1211 Forge Road.
