Dickinson College Student Health Services serves as your primary-care provider while you are away from home. The Center is staffed with nurse practitioners and physician consultants and offers multiple services, including treatment for common illnesses and injuries, preventive sexual-health services, immunizations and physical exams.  All students are eligible to be seen at the Health Center regardless of type of health insurance. 

Visits are free; nominal fees for prescription medicine or lab work may apply. Learn more about services and fees.

Emergency Medical Care and After-Hours Care

In a true emergency, call the Department of Public Safety at ext. 111 or 717-245-1111. An officer will secure transportation to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center’s emergency room.

If you do not have a medical emergency, but would like medical advice when the Health Center is closed, please call NurseLine, our 24/7 nurse hotline, at 866-409-1859. The call is toll-free.
