Dickinson College Student Health Services serves as your primary-care provider while you are away from home. The Center is staffed with nurse practitioners and physician consultants and offers multiple services, including treatment for common illnesses and injuries, preventive sexual-health services, immunizations and physical exams. All students are eligible to be seen at the Health Center regardless of type of health insurance.

Emergency Medical Care and After-Hours Care
In a true emergency, call the Department of Public Safety at ext. 1111 or 717-245-1111. An officer will secure transportation to the Carlisle Regional Medical Center’s emergency room.
If you do not have a medical emergency , but need urgent care when Health Services is closed; Holy Spirit Hospital - Carlisle Family Care Center is a walk-in medical facility located at 1211 Forge Rd, approximately 3 miles from campus. If you need transportation, call the Department of Public Safety at ext.1349 or 717-245-1349.
