Alecia D. Sundsmo, Psy.D.

Education:
Dr. Sundsmo eaned her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon after completing her master's degree at the same institution and her bachelor's degree at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. She is a registered National Health Service Provider in Psychology and is licensed as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and Iowa. She has previously directed mental health services for college students at Grinnell College, as well as provided clinical services to students at Grand Valley State University and Portland State University.
Clinical Interests:
Dr. Sundsmo enjoys working with students on identity development (e.g., racial, cultural, sexual, career), relationship concerns, adjustment reactions, mood management, anxiety reduction, self acceptance, and personal growth.
Presentations and Workshops:
Dr. Sundsmo is available to present information in various formats on many different issues related to mental health. Previous topics have included mindful eating, how to help a friend, relaxation, healthy sleep habits, suicide prevention, and many more.

Christine M. Samuelsen, Psy.D.

Dr. Samuelsen received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Schaumburg, Illinois. She earned her B.A. in Psychology at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Samuelsen is also a licensed psychologist in the State of Connecticut.
Clinical Interests:
Her interests include eating disorders, body image issues, depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, domestic violence and sexual assault.
Presentations and Workshops:
Dr. Samuelsen is available to present workshops on eating disorders, suicide assessment, stress management, time management, test anxiety, self-injury and alcohol abuse.

Donald J. Domenici, Ph.D.

Dr. Domenici received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio after earning a M.A. in Psychology (with a concentration in counseling) at State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz, New York, and a B.S. in Psychology at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York.
Dr. Domenici comes to Dickinson College from University of Buffalo Counseling Center and will be joining the Counseling Center staff on August 15, 2011.

Aryela Levy, Psy.D.
Staff Psychologist

Dr. Levy received her Master's of Professional Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Her undergraduate degree in psychology was earned at Vassar College.
Dr. Levy comes to Dickinson College from the Rosemary Furman Counseling Center at Barnard College and will be joining the Counseling Center staff on August 15, 2011.
Dixie Turner
Postdoctoral Resident

Dixie Turner received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and her Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. She is currently a fifth-year graduate student in Counseling Psychology at Louisiana Tech University with an expected graduation date of August 18, 2011. She is currently working at Michigan State University Counseling Center for her pre-doctoral internship.
Dixie comes to Dickinson College from Michigan State University where she completed her pre-doctoral internship and will join the Counseling Center staff on August 15, 2011 as a postdoctoral resident.
