On Wednesday November 9th, the Montgomery Service leaders will be presenting the documentary Trouble the Water, in the Stafford Auditorium room from 7-9pm. This showing will be part of the Montgomery Service Leader's year long awareness campaign about natural disasters and poverty, culminating in a poverty simulation during the spring semester. Trouble the Water, is an 2009 Academy Award Nominee, and 2008 Sundance Film Festival winner, directed by Tia Lessin and Carl Deal, and is a dramatic film centered around the disaster of Hurricane Katrina, while looking at issues of class, race and government relationships toward its citizens.
