Last night, Student Senate approved the Social Progress Fund for the 2011-2012 Academic Year. The Fund is an expanded version of the Sexual Violence Prevention and Awareness Fund from years past. Specifically, the scope and size of that fund have increased this year. The Fund is now open to anyone putting on programming, events, or anything really that educates on or works to prevent discrimination at Dickinson., with a special emphasis on gender-based violence.
If you have any questions about the fund, how to apply, and how to use the money, please don't hesitate to contact the author of the resolution that created the fund, Senate Vice President Andrew Chesley (chesleya@), or Senate Treasurer Dan Gagliano (sentreas@). The form can be downloaded here. Follow the instructions and submit it to start the process of using this fund.
