 Top 10 ways Alumni & Parents Can Strengthen Dickinson

  1. Talk about your Dickinson experience in your conversations and online profiles. Show your Dickinson pride in what you wear and display – college gear, bumper stickers, decals, license plates or license-plate frames, campus portraits, framed diplomas and pennants.
  2. Email us and let us know about your activities, achievements and family news. Contact the Alumni Relations at alumni@dickinson.edu.
  3. Visit Campus – Alumni Weekend, Homecoming, Networking Day, special events and athletic contests.
  4. Be active in your area’s Dickinson clubs by joining a committee, hosting or attending events.
  5. Make annual financial gifts to the college
  6. Include a gift to Dickinson through your retirement or estate plans.
  7.  Help Dickinson recruit the best and brightest students by becoming a member of the Dickinson Admissions Volunteer Society (DAVS). There are a range of activities such as:

             - Interviewing prospective students
             - Representing Dickinson at college fairs
             - Contacting prospective, admitted and/or enrolling students/parents
             - Hosting or attending local event(s) for prospective, admitted or enrolling students/families
  8. Serve on Alumni Council, as a Class Chair, or serve on a Reunion Committee.
  9. Attend networking events and/or sit on career panels on campus and in your local area.
  10. Have an internship or job opportunity? Consider offering or posting internships for students, or hiring Dickinson seniors and alumni.
