Parent to Parent
As our children continue their educational voyage this fall, we’d like to ask you
to take a moment to reflect on their academic venture so far and to consider supporting
the college charitably.
As parents, our contributions collectively make up the Parents’ Fund. The financial
support that we provide directly impacts our children. Contributions support academic departments,
student life, classroom equipment, study-abroad programs, financial aid, student/faculty
research and a library that continues to be ranked in the top 10 in the nation (as reported
by The Princeton Review).
Furthermore, the number of parents who financially support the college charitably sends
a strong message. By making a gift, of any size, we show that we believe in the mission
of the college and wholeheartedly support the educational venture upon which our children
have embarked.
The Parents’ Fund goal for this academic year is to raise $300,000. We hope that
you will join us by doing whatever you can to help the college meet this important goal.
A contribution envelope is enclosed for your convenience, and gifts can also be made online
at: www.dickinson.edu/parents/gift.html.
