CHANGES CONCERNING THE MAIL DELIVERY AT DICKINSON COLLEGE

STARTING AUGUST 11, 2008    

As the college campus grows, the number of stops to deliver the office and departmental mail has increased.  In order to meet the post office schedule, it will be necessary to deliver mail once a day (instead of twice a day) throughout the year.  The pending schedule for mail delivery is posted below.  This schedule will be flexible until we coordinate a time efficient and cost effective mail run that will be beneficial to Dickinson College. Please be patient during this transition.

Carrier Mail Runs/Pickups

Carlisle Post Office                        7:15 am (pick up only)
                                                           11:15 am (pick up and drop off)
                                                           3:15 pm (drop off and pick up                                                            traceable mail only)

Federal Express                              3:13 pm (drop box at post office)

UPS                                                   4:00 pm (pick up in house)

Packages that need a phone call to pick up, must be in the FAS by 2:00 pm (holiday hours might be earlier).
