Benjamin Rush Award

Dr. Edward Gramlich, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, was presented with the 2005 Benjamin Rush Award for his outstanding achievements in macroeconomics, budget policy, income redistribution, fiscal federalism, social security, and the economics of professional sports. As part of the ceremony, Levitt gave the lecture "The Importance of Raising National Saving."
