"The Ballad of the Sad CafÉ"
October 27-30, 2007

This year’s theatre production celebrated Edward Albee, the 2007 recipient of the Harold and Ethel L. Stellfox Visiting Scholars and Writers Program award. This adaptation of Carson McCullers’ novella is a haunting story about the nature of love. Mysterious and darkly comic, the play brings to life McCullers’ Southern gothic landscape in a startling and poetic way.
