In conjunction with National Fire Safety Month, the Department of Environmental Health & Safety sponsored a fire extinguisher training day from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18. Members of the college community who attended the training in Britton Plaza were timed while they used fire extinguishers,with instructions from DPS officers, to extinguish a controlled blaze.
