Take Back the Night
April 20, 2004

Dozens of Dickinson students gathered for a rally and march to raise awareness of sexual assault and domestic violence issues. The Take Back the Night rally was co-sponsored by Dickinson's Women's Center and the Carlisle YWCA.

Marchers gathered at the Great Room in the Stern Center to learn more about domestic violence, sexual abuse/assault and rape. They also viewed the Clothesline Project, a visual display that calls attention to violence against women.

Participants then joined a march through campus, ending with a candlelight vigil and an open microphone where survivors shared their stories.
