Young Ambassadors Program
July 21, 2003

Reception | Capitol Visit | Letter from a Young Ambassador | Young Ambassadors

Twenty-six students from the Middle East will spend a month this summer at Dickinson College in the "Young Ambassadors" program. On Monday, July 21, the students enjoyed a reception at President William Durden's house, where they met faculty and staff as well as officials from the U.S. Department of State.

Dickinson was selected to run the program by the State Department because of the college's established reputation for excellence in international education. The students will pursue a curriculum coordinated by American studies professors Amy Farrell and Cotten Seiler, political science professor Andrew Rudalevige, and history professor David Commins.
