On January 24, 2003, the front page of the sports section of The Baltimore Sun featured an article about Dickinson junior Brandon Corbit.
Brandon, a resident of the Maryland community of Olney, has been in Lake Placid during semester break training for the Olympic skeleton team. Skeleton, the most extreme sledding sport, is a single-person event in which athletes called sliders race headfirst down an ice track at speeds up to 80 mph.
An IB&M major, Brandon is a member of Dickinson's track team.
