Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony
September 11, 2003

A September 11th Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony was held by the Dickinson College ROTC in conjunction with the Office of Religious Life & Community Services.

The ceremony, held at the flagpole on the John Dickinson campus, began with the ROTC Honor Guard raising the flag and then lowering it to half staff while "Taps" was played. This was followed by a moment of silence.

Denny Hall's bell tolled three times (once for each crash site) before the attendees observed another moment of silence. President and Mrs. Durden placed a wreath at the flagpole, and the Rev. John Miyahara, director of religious life & community services, offered a prayer.
