Retired General Speaks about Iraq |
Retired Army Major-General Dave Meade '62 appeared on the PBS program The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. General Meade joined three other experts to discuss the challenges in restoring order in post-war Iraq.
General Meade commanded the tenth mountain division during the 1993 change in government in Haiti. He went on to command all military forces in Haiti during the effort to secure and stabilize that country.
A member of Dickinson's Board of Trustees, General Meade also serves on the board of The Clarke Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Contemporary Issues.
