Susan Lindner featured in Marketing News

Susan Lindner An article in Marketing News of September 1, 2003, featured Dickinson alumna Susan Lindner '92.

The article, "Late Bloomers," profiled individuals who turned to marketing careers after working in other fields. After graduating from Dickinson, Lindner went to Thailand to work for the Population and Community Development Association. Lindner, who speaks Thai, helped raise about $1.5 million in grants for programs in the Golden Triangle region.

Following her time in Thailand, Susan went to work for the New York Department of Health. Under a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she studied resistance to HIV medications.

Showing the flexibility and versatility typical of a Dickinson liberal arts education, Susan decided to use her communications skills and an interest in the high-tech boom to pursue a career in public relations. She went to work for the tech-oriented firm NYPR in February, 2000. In August, 2002 she opened her own firm, Lotus Public Relations.
