Habitat for Humanity House
September 6, 2003

page 1 | page 2

Dickinson students are raising funds and contributing labor to build a Habitat for Humanity House in Carlisle. The recipient of the house is Tami Carey, who works in dining services at the college, and her sons Matthew and Damon.

On the first weekend of the fall semester, groups of students came out for two four-hour shifts to work on the house. Under the direction of Cumberland Valley Habitat for Humanity, Dickinson volunteers will spend every Saturday in September and October to bring the house to completion.
