St. Pete | Boca Grande | Trip home
During the second week of February, President Durden attended events held by the Dickinson Club of Florida. On Thursday, February 13th, Charles Ehrlich '67 and Sandy Pearl hosted a luncheon in St. Petersburg at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club. During the weekend in Boca Grande, a golf outing was held at the Gasparilla Inn Golf Course followed by cocktails hosted by Bruce '54 and Mary Lousie Foster. In the evening, dinner was hosted by Sackett '62 and Mary Cook.
The president's return to campus was delayed by the large snowstorm that fell during the President's Day weekend.

President Durden enjoyed the warm Florida weather on his trip (above), but on his eventual return to BWI airport he had to dig his car out from under two feet of snow.
