Dickinson hosted the NCAA Mideast Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 15th at Carlisle High School. The Dickinson women's team placed first with 68 points and qualified for the NCAA National Championships. This marked the second consecutive title and the third in the last five years for the team.
Senior Callie Bradley raced to her second straight individual title. Dickinson had five runners earn All-Region honors, finishing in the top 35 spots. Emily Hulme placed tenth, Gabby Russo 12th, Annie Scogin 20th, Allison Baumler 25th, and Abigail Fergusson 26th.
The Dickinson College men ran a strong race as well, capturing fourth place behind three nationally ranked teams. Senior Todd Derkacz placed 20th and earned All-Region Honors. Senior Matt Gallagher also earned All-Region Honors finishing 19 seconds behind Derkacz as the 31st runner to cross the line. Freshman Matt Leibal, who placed 50th overall, made the All-Freshman Region team placing fifth among all freshman.
