Dickinson College hosted
a conference to promote and develop bioinformatic approaches in the undergraduate curriculum.
The meeting brought together biologists, chemists, computer scientists, academic administrators
and representatives from the governmental, foundation and corporate sectors. Participants came
from a number of schools, including Bard, Bates, Beloit, Bucknell, Canisius, Colgate, F&M,
Furman, Gettysburg, Hamilton, Haverford, Hope, Juniata, Lafayette, Marist, Monmouth, Mt. Holyoke,
Richmond, RIT, Southern Maine, Trinity, Ursinus, Vassar, and Wheaton.
