Bioinformatics in the Undergraduate Curriculum
March 21 - 22, 2003

Dickinson College hosted a conference to promote and develop bioinformatic approaches in the undergraduate curriculum. The meeting brought together biologists, chemists, computer scientists, academic administrators and representatives from the governmental, foundation and corporate sectors. Participants came from a number of schools, including Bard, Bates, Beloit, Bucknell, Canisius, Colgate, F&M, Furman, Gettysburg, Hamilton, Haverford, Hope, Juniata, Lafayette, Marist, Monmouth, Mt. Holyoke, Richmond, RIT, Southern Maine, Trinity, Ursinus, Vassar, and Wheaton.

To learn more about bioinformatics, read the address delivered by Dr. Kirsten Guss when she was installed as the first incumbent of the John R. Stafford '59 and Inge Paul Stafford '58 Endowed Chair in Bioinformatics.
