Alumni In the News - October 24, 2002 Actor in Cast of "Passions" |
Eric Martsolf '93 may not be a lawyer, but he plays one on TV. Since August he has been appearing as Ethan Winthrop, the "bright and attractive attorney", on the NBC soap opera "Passions."
As a student at Dickinson, Eric was involved with the Mermaid Players and the College Choir. He also worked during the summer as a singer and dancer at Hershey Park. When he graduated with a degree in political science, he thought about following in his father's footsteps by going to law school. Instead, he went to New York to pursue a career in entertainment.
Eric's credits include the role of Pharoah in the Osmond National Touring Company of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Danny Zuko in Grease and Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady at the Dauphin Theatre. He performed as a regular on-stage singing and acting partner with Dolly Parton at Dollywood in Tennessee and has appeared in the independent films "The Cheater," "Omum," and "If Lucy Fell."
