Social Worker Publishes Novel

Book Cover Nichole (Zsittnik) Finger '95 published a novel for young adults in October. Boundary Lines is about a young woman graduating from high school and struggling to reconcile personal and family relationships.

Susan Perabo, Dickinson writer in residence and author of Who I Was Supposed to Be and The Broken Places, says:
"With unflinching honesty, Boundary Lines explores the personal price we all pay for living in a society that continues to split itself-often without malice or even intent-along racial lines. Finger understands the complexities of teenage relationships, both romantic and platonic, and refuses to succumb to easy clichés."
Finger received her degree in psychology and English from Dickinson and her Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland at Baltimore. She is a clinical social worker dealing with children and adolescents in her practice in Davidson, North Carolina.
