ARts Award
November 5-8, 2007
The 2007 Dickinson Arts Award was given to dancer and choreographer Trisha Brown. Over the course of her 50-year career, Brown continually revolutionized both the compositional practices and formal aesthetics of contemporary dance. Her canon—containing more than 85 dances—includes many works that venture into visual and performance art forms, and her career features close collaborations with many artists and musicians.
