Christina Errico '15

by MaryAlice Bitts-Jackson

From the classroom to the lab to the stage, musician/dancer/classics devotee Christina Errico '15 gives her all. But, she advises, even the most ambitious students need to also make time to relax and enjoy the ride.

Majors:

Archaeology and classical studies.

Clubs and organizations:

D-Tones, Dance Theatre Group, Chimaera Club, College Choir, Catholic Campus Ministries Choir, Eta Sigma Phi and Alpha Lambda Delta.

On choosing Dickinson:

Dickinson is one of the only schools on the East Coast that offers an interdisciplinary archaeology major. When I visited the campus I fell in love and ended up applying Early Decision.

Favorite book:

Anything by C.S. Lewis.

Favorite movie:

Pride and Prejudice, but Eat Pray Love is a very close second.

Hobbies/talents:

I’m obsessed with knitting, and I like to play the tin whistle.

Favorite place on campus:

The classics library in East College.

Favorite professor:

[Associate Professor of Music] Amy Wlodarski, because she pushed me. She made me realize my potential as a writer and student.

Favorite Dining Hall food:

Pierogies and onions.

Most important thing I’ve learned so far:

We all came here to learn, but we also came to have an experience. So just let it happen. You want to look back on your college experience and think they were four of the best years of your life, not the most stressful.

In a perfect world . . .

. . . everyone would have an equal opportunity to do something worthwhile with their lives. And no one would be allergic to anything!
